When we see that first snowfall we know larch season is just around the corner.
There are a few branches beginning to show their colour, however, the real colour change won’t come for another couple of weeks. As we just pass by the middle of the month the trees should be glowing in all their glory.
One of the many pleasures about living and working at Lake O’Hara is welcoming the wonderful guests who come through our door. Everyday we get reacquainted with our many returning guests and also welcome into our lodge guests who are experiencing the magic of this place for the first time. It is exciting to see people come through the door with a smile or grin a mile wide excited about being at O’Hara, whether for the first or 40th visit.
With this fall weather and cooler nights I am thinking of some of the wonderful BC red wines we have in our cellar; Road 13 5th Element, Nagging Doubt The Pull and Seven Stones Row 128 Merlot to name a few. Cheers!
