Accommodations/Rates

Although completely off the grid and nearly 12 kilometres from the nearest road, the lodge nonetheless offers most of the comforts of home. Hot showers and claw-footed bath tubs await weary hikers and skiers at the end of the day. You’ll enjoy superb meals in our historic lodge, which looks out on alpine forests and towering mountains. After dinner, guests can relax in front of our massive stone hearth or take a stroll around the lake. When sleep finally calls, retreat to your cozy room or private cabin and curl up under a goose down comforter.

Rooms In Our Historic Main Lodge
Each of the eight well-appointed rooms in our main lodge accommodates two people in two twin beds. In becoming part of the Lake O’Hara community, all lodge guests share our two large bathrooms. There is plenty of hot water for showers or a long soak in our claw-foot bathtubs.

When you wake in the morning, stroll out of your room and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea by the large picture window overlooking Lake O’Hara.

Lakeshore Cabins
Eleven one-bedroom cabins line the shores of Lake O’Hara. With 360-degree views from their front porches, the cabins offer a view and experience matched by few places on earth.

These log cabins – each with a double bed and twin bed — can accommodate a maximum of two people. Each cabin comes with its own private bathroom (showers only).

Guides’ Cabins
Named for the famous Swiss Guides brought to the Rockies by the Canadian Pacific Railway in the late 1800’s, these cedar duplex cabins are located on a bench overlooking Lake O’Hara. With a full bath, queen-sized bed, and living room replete with a double Murphy bed and queen hideabed, our Guides’ Cabins can accommodate a maximum of four people.

To ensure all our guests enjoy the best experience possible, all of our reservations are taken by phone only.
