Winter finds Lake O'Hara hushed under a deep blanket of snow, creating a playground for those inspired to explore the area on skis or snowshoes. Winter access is strictly people-powered, and all guests must ski or snowshoe in on our 11-kilometre access trail.
The variety of terrain at Lake O'Hara is ideally suited for novice and intermediate skiers and snowshoers alike. Our certified mountain guide will lead you to any of dozens of magical destinations, from rolling alpine glades to awe-inspiring glaciers, all while offering information and friendly advice along the way.
Whether you spend your day touring sub-alpine forests or venturing farther a field, a glass of steaming gluwein and a wood-fired sauna provide welcome respite at the end of the day.
The Main Lodge is the only accommodation we provide in winter, allowing our 16 guests to feel like they are relaxing in the comforts of their own private ski lodge. Our winter season operates from early February through early April.
Waiver of Liability
Although all of our winter adventures are led by certified mountain guides, guests must acknowledge the inherent risks associated with winter mountain travel by signing a waiver before partaking of any ski trip. Click here to download a copy of our winter waiver. Waiver Link
